Exodus PAYMENTS & BOOKING AMENDMENTS
Balance payable
Please note that the balance of your payment is due eight weeks (ten weeks for Polar trips) before departure. Your invoice shows the date your final balance is due. If payment is not made on time you may lose your place on the trip, although we will always do our best to contact you before we cancel your booking. Reminders and receipts are not normally issued, but a receipt will be sent if you request one. If you have booked through a travel agent and require a receipt, you should request one from your agent.
Payments by credit card*
Due to the charges levied on us by the credit card companies there will be a surcharge for any payments made by credit card as stated on your booking form. However, we do not apply this surcharge to payments made by debit card. We feel this is fairer than increasing our prices to cover the credit card charges, as this would penalise those who pay by other methods.
Amendments*
If you wish to make any changes to your booking, particularly if you need to alter any flights booked through us, please let us know as soon as possible. Flight amendments will incur a £25 amendment fee, and there may also be extra airfare costs. Any other amendments that you make to your booking after you have booked will be subject to an amendment fee of £50. Changes to any insurance policy booked through Exodus after the 14 day cooling off period, will incur a £10 amendment charge.
Cancelling or transferring your booking*
If you need to cancel your booking, please let us know as soon as possible. This is required in writing (letter or email) and you should refer to the booking conditions with regard to any cancellation charges that may apply. Normally, if you cancel before the final balance is due the deposit and insurance premium are non refundable, but can be transferred to another trip. If you cancel after you have received your Final Joining Instructions you need to return your paper ticket so we can refund you the taxes, in some cases. If you wish to transfer your booking, you should notify us before the final balance is due. The deposit will be transferred to the new booking, but you will be charged a £50 transfer fee. You can transfer your booking to another person if you have already paid your final balance provided they meet all the requirements relating to the holiday. IMPORTANT NOTE
If you are not going to be contactable at your normal address before your Exodus trip begins please give us (or your travel agent) your contact details in case we need to contact you urgently.
