For the perfect opportunity to experience the calming effect of Yoga, you can now enjoy a more relaxed approach either in a peaceful Andalucian setting. Our base is the comfortable Cortijo Rosario, which boasts incredible views across the valley and has plenty of space, inside and out.
On this Yoga week you will learn a time honoured system for bringing health, well being and inner peace to your body. Yoga is suitable for all levels and no experience is required however, you will need a reasonable level of fitness and mobility.
Yoga teacher David Farley will guide you gently through all the main Yoga postures, teach you powerful breathing techniques to reduce stress and enliven your energy. You will learn the art of meditation and establish a firm grounding into the practice and principles of Yoga and how to use it in your everyday life for well being, inner peace and positive living. David has led workshops and classes around the world and uses his experience as a bodyworker and healer to help students find balance, harmony and inspiration through movement awareness and breath.
Some quotes from clients happy for them to be used on the website:
'One of the best times and things that has helped me this year to keep me routed was thinking about the retreat at Cortijo Rosario. Just thinking about it now makes me smile. I loved the experience and the group but most of all the Yoga and your wonderful yogic massage and chakra balancing. The whole experience left me feeling positive, radiant and kinda joyful. Im looking forward to joining you on one again. Keep up the brilliant work.'
'I'm amazed that a sceptic like me is now interested not just in the postures, but in the philosophy too. The massage was brilliant and I'm still trying to puzzle out what the energy balancing was about and why it had the effect on me that it did. I've returned home feeling different inside and can't explain why and I seem to be able to focus better on what I have to do.'
