Orang-Utans of Borneo and Sumatra

Sumatra Indonesia Bukit Lawang Orang-utan Thanks to the illegal trade in primates centred in Taiwan, the populations of this magnificent species have declined. However it is still possible to see them in the wild in Borneo. The conservation centre at Sepilok remains the best chance as the orphans are fed regularly, it is also possible to see them in the wild in Sukau rainforest. With one of the closest DNA percentage to the human race an encounter with an Orang Utan is similar in experience to that of the mountain gorilla. This visit is combined with many other activities in Borneo and makes it one of our strongest tours in terms of variance and activities.

Join Exodus to see Orang-Utans and other great animals in the Rainforests of Borneo.
