Winter Activity holidays in the Pyrenees
For truly breathtaking scenery, fields of untouched snow and warm hospitality, the Pyrenees is surely high on the list for many winter adventurers. This is in fact where our snowshoeing programme was born, as we started enticing summer walkers back to enjoy this area's stunning snowy scenery on snowshoes. This is the perfect destination to get completely 'off the beaten track' and learn about a culture that has kept strong traditions and wonderful cuisine.
Temperatures & daylight hours
Daylight hours are similar to the UK, but temperatures vary enormously depending on surroundings and altitude. There may not be as much snow in the valleys early in the season (mid-December) yet the views are certainly worth the wait and many believe they are more spectacular than the Alps. We suggest you check our Trip Notes for your chosen destination or our latest snow report.
