Winter Activity Holidays in Switzerland

Bursting with chocolate box scenery, impressive jagged peaks and some of the cleanest air in Europe, Switzerland has much to offer. Home to arguably the most beautiful section of the Alps, its rolling landscape, long valleys and high altitude villages make it the perfect place to enjoy winter activities. The winter season begins in early December and stretches through to early April with temperatures from Christmas to early February ranging from +4° C to -10° C. For those who prefer warmer climes, March and April can reach an enjoyable +15°C whilst still offering good snow and bright blue skies.

A short flight from the UK to Geneva or Zurich means it can be reached in just 1-2 hours. Unsurprisingly the train network in Switzerland is efficient and a great way to enjoy the journey as well as the final destination.
