Snowmobiling in Swedish LaplandMIXED ACTIVITY WEEKS

The best introduction to an alternative winter holiday as you can try a different activity every day. Full instruction is given and all equipment is usually included so it’s perfect if this is your first winter experience. Not ready for a full week of snowshoeing, dogsledding or cross-country skiing? Then try each out for size along with a few other treats (downhill skiing and snowmobiling) to make the most of your holiday.

HuskiesDOGSLEDDING

A truly magical experience is ‘mushing’ your own team of Alaskan or Siberian huskies across a blanket of fresh snow, past snow-covered trees and frozenl akes. The traditional way to cover large distances without any experience needed. Just be prepared to fall in love with your team of huskies and the surrounding dramatic scenery on our selection of short and long itineraries. For a real adventure, try an expedition through Greenland.

If you simply want to discover a winter wonderland, then whatever level of challenge you’re after this is the ideal way to get straight into the snowy landscape. Far less technical than skiing, you will master it in minutes and then the opportunity for winter exploration is endless. We provide the snowshoes, walking poles and, on the tougher treks, avalanche transceivers, the only specialist equipment you will need.

One of the most rewarding winter activities which creates little impact on the environment. Use long, thin, light skis and glide through snow-dusted pine forests or remote mountain scenery whilst keeping fit. Popular group courses range from beginner to advanced with special weeks to improve your skills with expert tuition. Try a little on a Taster week or a lot with a ski race - the ultimate challenge.
