Finally home

Landing at Heathrow , saying farewell to our fellow travellers was quite sad. Hugs and best wishes for safe onward journeys was passed around the group.

Lots of memories, from start to finish will be enjoyed for several years to come.

Lots of good experiences and eventful moments from celebrating my 29th wedding anniversary with Stefan; to sharing Sue's birthday, with poppers and balloons, our group livened up the camp that evening.

A view from the boundry

In India on Wednesday there is the small matter of a cricket game. Some are saying it is literally a matter of life or death and that it will affect millions of people. They are right; at mid-day the coin will be tossed to decide who will try to defend India's history and heritage. The marquis is up, the menu completed, the Singha chilled. Broken Tail .... broken grail

Normally it takes me a while to calm down from gushing wildlife documentaries which are full of romantic nonsense and ludicrously facile solutions. Back from trip. It had to end, but it was wonderful.

 5 Jan.2011 - The Start was a bit of a disaster, arrived at Kigali airport after two flights, met others of group and waited to be collected.
