Oh my! It's only day three of the Spitsbergen in Depth expedition and we've already seen sixteen bears on ice (and on kills)! Not to mention the cubs and the thumping nautical views - it's off the scale!  
 
There are 100 VERY happy Arcticians on board the Vavilov right now. Why? Because no-one does it like the Vavilov, or Exodus for that matter!

Want to be here next year? Thought so!

I have a barely coherent Ruth next to me in the communications room, it is 35 minutes past midnight and to quote her (as she is still incapable of speaking) ' this was unquestionably the best moment of my life'

She and 100 others have just had five bears on ice, the last one that paraded on a small ice island literally in the midnight sun, it was 5 metres from the hull.
