Tuesday, 14th May

We had a long day yesterday driving from Zhangmu to Kathmandu especially after our last night in Tibet. Zhangmu does not have many attractions apart from the Sherpa disco! This time we had our own Sherpas to take to the disco and we all enjoyed our last night in Tibet showing the locals how to dance Zhangmu style!!!

The Adventure starts

Finally got confirmation of a definite booking on a "guaranteed to go" trip to Nepal/Tibet for the Lhasa to Kathmandu ride. Been training for last couple of months in Canaries and Mallorca, spending 7 weeks out of the first thirteen weeks of the year riding abroad, in the sun. Unfortunately not as enthusiastic about riding in the cold, but should be getting used to it I guess..
