Race Report

Alright, so I guess this whole blogging thing didn't quite go the way I had planned.  We stayed in a wonderful hotel in Zernez during our week of cross country skiing and racing -- the Crusch Alba Swisslodge (it seems as if there's a Crusch Alba in almost every small town in this part of Switzerland).  However, the one thing that the Crusch Alba did not have was a WiFi signal that reached all the way to my room.  The only way I could pick up a signal was to take my ipad or lap top to their...

Race Prep -- Training

Tomorrow we are skiing the second half of the route which is apparently meant to be a little easier (I hope so!). The weather report is for...

Rollerski

This morning I headed to Hyde Park to have a go at a new sport for me - Rollerskiing. Joined by Anna and Claire from the product team we braved the wind, rain and a rather early start to try this increasingly popular sport. I had been told that it would be a great way to train for the ski marathon but it all honesty I was terrified I was going to fall and injure myself with only a couple of weeks to go before the race date!
