I spent my Sunday hiking about the hills of Dorking. Luckily the sun came out and I got to test out some of my trekking gear. I realised that my waterproof jacket isn't waterproof so it will be another trip to the shops for me. Fitness wise I felt ok but even these steps made me tired. I think that last bit up Kili isn't going to be fun!...

I'm hoping a week of xc skiing in Austria is going to help with my fitness for my Kili attempt. I can't believe it is less than 4 weeks until i will be pulling on my boots?! Eek! Currently there are 6 of us booked on the trip for February 11-23rd. There is still space if anyone fancies joining in the challenge!

That's it i have no excuses left....Christmas is out of the way and i've eaten my own body weight in turkey and chocolate. So time for a new challenge. I am going to be climbing Kilimanjaro in February - eek!
