Couple of long walks in order for the weekend. Weather is perfect so getting into the highlands....

Holiday booked for 3rd June. Booked up for the Walking on the Greek Islands trip.  Really looking forward to it. Getting excited.  The islands are new ones that I have never visited before. I wonder if the hotels will have swimming pools.  Originally I boked the holiday with my friend, but now she is unable to travel, so I am going on the holdiay by myself.  I hope that I meet up with a good crowd of people.

Well the sun has finally put in an appearance - but not enough for me to brave the short sleeves and shorts.  I was however brave enough to venture out around Edinburgh/West Lothian where there are real hills (well, sort of minor inclines really when compared to the Tibetan ascents).

A 30-mile round trip in the sun, with a stop off at the ice-cream shop... what more can a girl want?

Have been back a week from walking in the Cyclades. Perfect temperatures and blue skies all week and a great group as well. It's sooo cold in the UK!

Already thinking aout my next holiday; my first ever trip to India departing 3rd November. At least it will be warmer than here! Anyone else booked on this trip.

It's May already and the cycle training is a disaster, the english weather is really getting me down, I am doing a charity ride in just about 5 weeks time, 200 miles over 3 days in Devon and Cornwall, that's all part of the fitness regime ready for India, trouble is I really need to get on the bike.....Please warm up and stop raining.....:-(...
