My first trip with Exodus - looking forward to it. My friend and I arrive late the evening of Feb 15 so we have one free day to explore before the group gets there. Anyone else arriving early?...

I spent my Sunday hiking about the hills of Dorking. Luckily the sun came out and I got to test out some of my trekking gear. I realised that my waterproof jacket isn't waterproof so it will be another trip to the shops for me. Fitness wise I felt ok but even these steps made me tired. I think that last bit up Kili isn't going to be fun!...

The countdown begins....The snowy weather hasn't really helped my training or motivation but i'm feeling relatively fit. I'm going with a group for a long, hilly hike in the Dorking countryside on Sunday...apparantly it is set to rain.

So now it is time for me to think about packing - any advice anyone? My friend Lucy has told me to take as many wetwipe as humanly possible!

Between 21:00 - 23:00 last night, the CSD group were privilaged to witness a spectacular display over their lodge for the evening. What more could you ask for after a day mushing through Swedish Lapland...
