Adventure Travel Blogs

Why Blog?

Welcome to the Exodus Blog – a brand new addition to our website where you can share your amazing travel experiences with the Exodus Community.

Like adventure holidays, travel blogs can come in all shapes and sizes and can be a great source of information and inspiration. Whether you are new to adventure travel or a veteran adrenaline junkie, there’s so much you could be blogging about.

You can write about an entire holiday, a favourite destination, or maybe you’d prefer to share just one of your most inspirational travel moments... it’s completely up to you. You can also upload photos to your blog and post comments on other blog entries.

Just click on the Post Blog link to start your Exodus blogging adventure. We can’t wait to start reading about your globetrotting escapades! (Note: Please do not copy and paste from other software programs into your Blog Post, type in the Blog Post text editor, otherwise your formatting will cause issues, many thanks - the Exodus Web Team).

If you’re interested in meeting your fellow travellers online before you depart or if you’d like advice from the Exodus community about your trip, go to the Departure Lounge and post a message in our forum.

Polar Bear Special - July 2011

Sunday 17th July
Longyearben

A wise man once said ‘it’s not the arriving, it’s the getting there’. He was wrong, but who cares now, the lines are thrown and the bow noses purposefully North. One hundred arcticians are aboard and 99 bags, but I’m over that.

 Annapurna - 'Ere we come!

Be good to talk to other fellow travellers.

Most of the work was smashing up rocks and moving them around to clear the area for the Hammam. We worked alongside a dozen or so villagers who were mighty impressed with the work of our volunteers - particularly our women. Quite a cult...

Zambian Volunteer Trips

I'm recently back from a most enjoyable trip to Zambia where i took a group of 7 Exodus volunteers. We had a busy time working in Kasalu village, Chikumbi on various projects before heading down to Victoria Falls for our reward! The experience in the village was rewarding for both volunteers and locals who worked together on initiatives such as: moulding bricks for a new learning centre; teaching English and sports to the kids; making improvements to the school grounds; checking malaria nets...
