Andrew’s recent travels have taken him all over the colourful country of Tibet. He sent us a lot of images this month and with a couple of exceptions, they were all very good - a couple outstanding. However, it is this shot which for me is the most compelling. Tibetans have suffered greatly for the last fifty years and whatever you may think about the Chinese involvement in what is not their country by birth right, you cannot fail to be touched by this simple yet moving image. Sometimes simplicity is best and this is spot on, requiring no further praise.
