Taking a photo which can convey the majesty of Jordan’s Treasury was always going to be tricky – to capture the magical contrast of candlelight and deep shadows against the vibrant orange sandstone is nothing short of an achievement. It was the masterful spot metering that impressed us with this atmospheric shot. If there was one criticism, it is that it was taken in landscape not portrait
