GALAPAGOS & AMAZON

A fantastic two and half weeks.  The organisation of all the guides was superb, excellent food through out the holiday and the wildlife sightseeing in both the Amazonian rainforest and on and around the Galapagos Islands was sensational.

ESSENTIAL PERU

From start to finish this is a full on adventure - constantly on the go but seeing so much as a consequence.  Stunning scenery and very friendly people.

HIDDEN TREASURES OF JORDAN

A really good holiday in a fantastic country with some amazing ancient sites, Jerash and Petra being absoutely stunning. Good country, great companions, a passionate guide, and with a few tweaks to the itinerary, could be an amazing adventure for anyone with an interest in archaeology and biblical history.

WALKING IN THE AZORES

I liked the Azores. The scenery is really good so is the food and wine. However although the the Hotel in Ilha Do Pico is good and the staff are friendly I would rate the facilities as 2 star not 4 star as claimed in the Exodus brochure.

TAURUS MOUNTAINS TREK

Mention Turkey to most people and they will think Turkish delight. The Taurus Mountains provides delight not in sweet pastries but through magnificent undiscovered mountains, gorges and even plain trails littered with tiny flowers that their stubborness beat the unforgiving nature of high altitude.

It's Colombia, not Columbia!

Colombia is a wonderful country and this trip gives an opportunity to taste a good variety of places, climates and altitudes. From Bogota to the serenity of the coffee zone, then over to the Caribbean and the jungle, we experienced more, and less, than we expected. More in that our guide did not seem to follow the trip notes, not sure if it was him or the notes that were wrong, and less in that there was a lot of free time with no activities, although we could have done them independently - easy if you speak Spanish. An expensive trip to have so much unorganised time.

Exodus Response

We were sorry to learn that this trip did not quite live up to Rosalind's expectations. Rosalind has also contacted us directly to raise some concerns regarding her trip and we investigated these matters.

MT TOUBKAL CLIMB

Much tougher than I'd anticipated and didn't enjoy it hugely. However, I'm sure others on the same trek would be of very different opinion to me. I'm 68, reasonably fit but found this tougher & less enjoyable than the treks I did to Annapurna Base Camp & Kala Pattar a few years ago (in spite of the fact that the latter was 1,000m higher than Toubkal).

CYCLE CILENTO & AMALFI COAST

Firstly, the bikes that we had for our week along the Amalfi coast were first class.  The whole group appreciated this, especially the lady who had hired an electric bike.It was a lovely bonus to have a pool at all but the last hotel, with our first view of the coastline from the hotel balcony absoutely stunning.  The guide was very knowledgeable and kept the group together, showing us hidden gems within the areas. And we couldn't have ordered better weather!!!
