Adventure Holidays to Croatia

It’s easy to see why Croatia and the Dalmatian coast are a popular choice for adventure holidays. The rugged coastline, with thousands of tiny islands, is surrounded by the clearest waters of the Mediterranean making a beautiful backdrop for walking, cycling, sightseeing or just relaxing on the many beaches.

On mainland Croatia, the Renaissance city of Dubrovnik is a joy to visit with its jumble of narrow streets lined with red-tiled roofs. A walk along its city walls is a great way to see some of the older parts of the city including the Old Port. Away from the city the landscape quickly becomes mountainous making it a paradise for walkers with its large network of trails.

A little way offshore lie beautiful islands such as Hvar, Korcula and Mljet. The scenery is made up of small coastal villages, mediaeval towns set against a backdrop of pine forests and mountains. This natural playground is a great place to enjoy an activity holiday.
