Rwanda Adventure Holidays

Despite its legacy from the early 90s, to many Rwanda is a country of hope, beauty and prosperity. It is also the home of mountain gorillas. For many this is the ultimate wildlife encounter; to stand within a few metres of these magnificent yet peaceful primates is the very essence of adventure travel, especially as it involves trekking at altitude with no paths, often for at least three hours. This small population of gorillas live in the Parc du Volcans. Just the sight of this park early in the morning, nestling high up in the mountains and shrouded by mist, is breathtaking, as is the whole of this fertile country. Exodus always spends a few days in the country and is involved with various conservation projects.
