Namibia Family Adventures

An Exodus family adventure holiday to Namibia offers the very best combination of wildlife, desert scenery, cultural tribes and optional adventurous activities for all the family.

Namibia is one of Africa's lesser-known gems - a huge country offering some truly awesome wilderness scenery, a sparse population of 2 million (mostly indigenous tribes practising subsistence-farming), excellent wildlife and historic bushman art. The interior contains some vast areas of grassland and salt pans where huge herds of game roam: the plains are separated from the Atlantic by impressive rocky country, and the coast itself is the oldest desert in the world. Namibia is a fascinating place to visit, with varied cultures and a complex history.

It is also a good place for wildlife in reserves such as Etosha, and has the unusual spectacle of plains animals being found in the desert. And then there is the landscape itself - incredible rock formations, vast sand deserts with huge dunes, endless shimmering salt pans, and the amazing desert coastline.
