Cross-country Skiing Leader Training

Exodus prides itself in having enthusiastic, knowledgeable, highly skilled and well trained leaders and we consequently invest heavily in regular leader training.  In early January 2012, the majority of our UK cross-country ski leaders were put through their paces in Dobbiaco in the Italian Dolomites by our very own Eric Woolley (a senior coach for Snowsport England).  The course covered all aspects of both classic and skate techniques and by the end of the course, our leaders were much more confident, skilled and proficient.  

During the running of the course, nearly a foot of snow fell and with a decent underlying snowpack anyway, this made for perfect snow conditions. Dobbiaco's vast network of prepared xc ski trails is now in perfect condition for both classic and skate techniques.  The combination of fantastic snow conditions, a well located comfortable hotel, efficient (and good value) public transport network and experienced and freshly trained Exodus leaders must make Dobbiaco one of the best locations in Italy for your next cross country ski holiday!
