Karl Mather – Italian Dolomites and Corsica

I am Karl Mather, a qualified International Mountain Leader (IML) and Mountain Bike Leader and have been working with Exodus for the past five years. Before this, I lectured in outdoor education and sport. I've been leading treks since I was in my early 20's but mainly as a volunteer. I must have led seventy trips for Exodus and enjoyed them all. I think that it's wonderful that Exodus is able to send me groups of such interesting people every week.

I love walking and trekking, particularly in Europe, and have my favourite trips and places, such as the Classic Dolomites (Tripcode: TWU) trip in June and July with its fabulous scenery, flowers and turbulent history. I also enjoy the Corsican Mountains & Villages (Tripcode: TEB) trip, so foreign and different from the French mainland, but so easily accessible. Interesting and exciting things happen on most trips, with groups who quickly bond as friends and are prepared to enjoy themselves. I think the clients particularly enjoy my jokes and don't believe what they say about them on your client feedback forms!
