Polar Journeys Slideshow
Award-winning wildlife photographer, conservationist, author and presenter Paul Goldstein has finally taken a break away from Africa and India and has recently spent some time photographing in the Antarctic. Please come and join him for a spectacular evening of dazzling images, provocative commentary, hilarious anecdotes and forthright opinion. If you have ever harboured any remote desire to travel to the 'Southern Continent' come along to the special talks Paul is giving. He knows the programme well being very familiar with the vessel and would welcome any questions. It is an evening not to be missed, come and enjoy a feast of icebergs, Chinstrap penguins, Humpback and Orca whales, albatrosses, the Drake Passage, whaling stations, zodiacs, kayaking, Tierra del Fuego and Ushuaia.
The Emperor Penguin safari to Snow Hill Island in Nov 2009 is probably the most exciting expedition ever scheduled, Polar talks will incuude a large section from Paul's voyage there last year. There will also be a short stunning montage taken from Paul's recent Spitsbergen expedition - polar bears and cubs, walruses, 24 hour daylight, reindeer, arctic foxes, phenomenal bird life, icebergs, belugas, trekking and more and flat seas!
