Can anyone confirm that the 12kg weight limit for flights to Lukla excludes the weight of your day pack?

Hi Barry B. We did the flight to/from Lukla last year when on the Gokyo & Everest trek. The weight limit is for your main kit bag, our day packs were taken on board as hand luggage and not weighed. Enjoy your trip.
