Trip - Gorillas and Masai, Departure Date - 19 December 2008
I am sure I read somewhere that you could only take 15 kgs to Uganda/Rwanda and Kenya - please can someone confirm if this is correct.  Also can I take a 25 litre back pack too as I have my camera equipment, binoculars etc.,

Hi Mandy, You can take over -
Hi Mandy, You can take over 15kg of luggage if you like - we do not set a weight limit for the trip though your airline will have a baggage allowance limit. If you are travelling with Kenya airways (economy) the baggage allowance is now 20kg. Generally, a weight limit is set of 15kg if you are using small aircraft to get from camp to camp but we travel by road on this trip. I would recommend however to pack all your luggage in a soft holdall together with your day pack (25 litre back pack is fine.) You will have your own storage compartment for your bag in the vehicle together with a smaller locker (often under your seat) to store your valuables and personal items. Have a great trip! Lesley
