I too am looking forward to a week away and hope there will be plenty of snow. Went to the Pyrenees last year and snow there was in short supply although we managed to ski every day. I definitely caught the cross-country skiing bug on our first trip to Kandersteg about 4 years ago and have since visited Seefeld and Dobbiacco.
Glad to hear from anyone who is going on this trip. Our First Choice was Varena but it was cancelled due to lack of numbers for this week. Seems from webcams there is some snow at Pertisau...sadly it was markedly absent when we were there in 2007! Looking forward to the comforts of teh Kristal Hotel.
