Pyrenees snowshoeing - 22th -29th march

So far im the only guy on the trip. You taking the group flight?

hi ya yes am going on the group flight how many others is there going i cant remember what the group size is?

At the moment there is just 9 with one space still going spare. Not looking forward to the early start getting to gatwick i have to admit. Maybe we should try and get everyone on the group fight to meet up at the airport considering we will be living together for a week anyway? Yep, me going too. Not really sure what I have let myself in for? And how early is the flight? The last trip I took, temperature up to 45c, must remember to pack the thermals!

hi ya according to the trips notes the flight is at 6.30 in the morning.so a nice early start lol.

I went skiing a few years ago at the same time just along the alps and we were in T-shirts it was that warm so it might be just right for walking! certainly nice enough for playing in the snow and the odd snowball fight to warm us all up!!

Great idea, personally i prefer the warming qualities of an alcoholic beverage? So you suggesting bikinis for this trip?

funny as bikinis in snow sound i have seen it before. The italians love to strip off to catch some rays and have even seen a few come up the mountain just for the sun and sit in their underwear! I have to admit though alcohol will be a big factor - especially for me and the one other poor guy that will have to put up with 8 women on this trip + only one bathroom between us all!

i think i read somewhere that there is a bar in the lodge is that right?

i believe is correct - we have to sign for all the drink at the end of each evening! Any bets we can drink it dry?

Well given the current snowfall, it looks like I can have a practice before the real thing, where are my tennis rackets :o)

Rushed home from work, "Blue Petered" the tennis rackets on feet, only to find all the snow had melted.  Of to Dartmoor, to break in boots!  Have a fab weekend! :o)
