I too can't wait for the trip to begin. I was originally booked on the 6th June departure but not enough places could be filled on that trip so I had to rearrange.

My friends have been and said it was fantastic. I'm looking forward to seeing and photographing some great geological sights as well as watching whales and seebirds. The food is also said to be particularly good although I won't be having the rotten shark, whalemeat or puffins!

I'm going to try and get some Kronas this week but my friends tell me cash is not an absolute necessity as everywhere takes credit cards and there are ATMs in Reykjavik. I'll be taking a bottle of malt for the evenings and am hoping to buy some Branavin at the duty free shop on the way in!
