I am also on this trip. According to my trip notes the scheduled flight also goes to Bahrain, changing for Kathmandu. My understanding is that I will be flying out on Friday 16th Oct.
I have done the Kala Pata (Everest Base Camp) trek before however that was 18 years ago, when I was younger and fitter:)

Anyone want going on the 10:00am Oct 16 flight via Bahrain from Heathrow want to meet up to travel to the Hotel in Kathmandu?
Hi,
I have a place booked on this trip - is anyone else going? I have not done any trip like this before, but am really looking forward to it. I probably need to buy a few things, and might need to do some walking practice before leaving - so if anyone wants to meet up for walking with me somewhere then that would be good.
I've also been told I am not on the group flight so will be flying first to Bahrain and changing there for Kathmandu.
