Trip - ADZ - TREASURES OF SICILY, Departure Date - Saturday 10th September 2011

Is there anyone out there that has done this trip already?  Was wondering if needed to wear actually hiking shoes/boots for Mt. Etna hike or would a comfortable walking shoe be okay?
