Amalfi Coast
I went last year and had a beautiful holiday. It wasn't too bad quite high in places but a really good guide who considered everybody's worries. I found it was the steps down that really were the worst bit.
Hope that's some help and have a good time

I havent really used walking poles before but wonderng if they would help with the many steps mentioned? Did they come in handy for this trip?

Hello Rachel,
I did this trip last May, and had never used walking poles before but they did prove to be very useful throughout the trip not just on the days with alot of steps. I found them very helpfull on the first days walk the Monte Tre Calli Walk.

I have to admit, I find walking poles a bit of a hinderance when walking, especially in the heat. I have to agree with Rose2468, the steps down really are the worst bit!
Life is a roller coaster
This was our first trip with Exodus in Oct 2009 - it was fab. There are parts with steep drops however you are warned by the guide. Someone in our group had an issue with the sheer drops of some of the paths and especially with the snake-like winding roads up the mountain sides to the hotel but it didn't stop him coming on the walks with us.
Can highly recommend this holiday. The food in the family-run hotel was fantastic.

I was looking at the above trip and was a little concerned to see that they mention high drop off's and parts of the walks that might effect vertigo suffers in the trip notes. Has anyone out there been on this trip before & if so how bad are the areas they mention. Don't really consider myself a true vertigo sufferer but not too comfortable with high passes and sheer drops. any info appricated!
