AMC Depart 17th October - Anyone going? -
Trip - AMC - MOROCCO CAMEL TREK, Departure Date - Sunday 17th October 2010
Hi would anyone like to say hello prior to our trip? This is my first trip with Exodus I'm hoping I'm packing the right things so if anyone has any handy tips or suggestions then please reply.

HI -
I'm not going on your trip, but I am doing the a Morocco tour that includes the camel trek in the last week or so of Oct (AMH). I'll have to check back and see if anyone writes about what to pack, because I'm not sure how hot or cold it will get either. Plus, wondering what's the best type of shoes for wandering around in the desert?

We are two kiwis joining Michael Ashers trip! Can't wait! Our first trip with Exodus too. How's the packing going?

Hi -
CG Hi I'm glad someone has replied and I'm not on my own ie first trip with Exodus. Not long to go now. I keep thinking whether I've packed the correct things and what happens if i forget anything!!!! I'm nervous but excited. Well I'll see you two Sunday evening at the airport? hotel?

Me too; -
Hi; I'll be on the trip and am packing at moment. Not sure about walking shoes/boots. Won't boots be too heavy and hot for the desert? I've got some good walking shoes which I'll take. Anyone done this sort of thing before. (Am taking stuff to cope with blisters; painkillers etc.!) See you at airport

CGHI I'm taking a pair of light weight walking boots and spare laces and a pair of old comfey flipflops. Not much room for anything else!! Got plenty of plasters etc. I'm sure we can help each other out if we've forgotten anything. See you at the airport.

How many towells do you think we'll need?

CGHi I'm just taking one microtowel as there will be towels provided at the hotel and I reckon by the time I've had a catlick with the wet wipes and wth the heat I'll be dry straight away !!!! fingers crossed.

Camel Trek -

Hi

Having done the camel trek in the Sudan with Michael Asher, the one thing I would recomend is that you can never have tomany wet wipes.
