Annapurna in Luxury

Hi there

I'll be joining with my son Christopher. We're hugely looking forward to it. I'm not as far ahead with fitness preparation as I'd like, having broken a bone in my foot 10 weeks ago. Walking fine now but still limping a bit - but determined to get there. We're from Farnborough, Hants

Good to hear from somebody else who is on the trip and hope that your foot is fully recovered now. Our fitness regime is a bit patchy but we're full of good intentions now that October is nearly here! We're from just up the road from you in Wokingham - shame it's so flat around here. You really are just up the road! Wonder if anyone else is joining us? Foot now fine, still working on regaining normal strength in the leg - limp improving! We're going out 3 days early on the Friday night to have some extra time in Katmandu - staying at same hotel. When do you fly out?

Two more who are going: we are Daisy and David, from Portishead (near Bristol - fine views to South Wales from time to time!)  Looking forward to seeing really big mountains again, and hoping we're going to be fit enough to enjoy the trek.  Also looking forward to the luxury element...

Looking forward to meeting you - maybe see you in Heathrow tomorrow? Dave's tall with grey hair and beard and I'm the small person beside him! We're just looking at the piles of clothes, boots, water bottles etc and wondering how we're going to get it all in our cases!
