Looking forward to it. This will be my third time to visit Yosemite and some of the other parks but first time with Exodus. I am really hoping we get a chance to get to the top of half dome.

Anyone else flying our on the Virgin VS019 flight on 19th June. Want to meet at the airport and arrange to share transport to the hotel?
Also anyone else staying for 4th July in Las Vegas?

Yosemite and Canyonlands - 14th Jun 2010 - 4:41pm
Hi, I have just done this trip- it was great. Be prepared for very early starts every day (eg 4 and 5am!) We didn't need 4 season sleeping bags as it was 90 to 108 degrees in the day in Utah and warm in the evenings. Half Dome hadn't had its chains refixed when we were there after winter, but will hopefully be sorted by now for you. Check out the 36th floor of the Hyatt Hotel, Union Square in San Francisco if you get a chance - there is a bar with a great view of the city. Enjoy :)
Hi, have just got back too. - 14th Jun 2010 - 5:07pm
Hi, have just got back too. Great trip, roasting hot so need for lots of warm clothes, cool at night though. Shame about half dome but the other optional extras made up for it. Read your cook books, you are expected to cook meals for the group!
