Anyone booked on MOC depart 18th Feb 12?

Booked up this morning!! 1st cycling holiday.

Phew beginning to think I was the only one!  My first cycling trip also, but second trip with Exodus.  I did Kili 2 years ago.  Really looking forward to some hot weather.  

Came across this earlier today and am very seriously consdiering.  Just trying to work out a few days before it starts, probably Thailand, and a few more days afterwards, probably Cambodia, Vietnam and Laos.  Will return.  How many are going so far?

Have now booked this trip and am really looking forward to it.  I've booked the land-only trip, having arranged to arrive in Bangkok a couple of days before the cycle starts.  Will also be staying for a couple of weeks after the cycle finishes, with plans to travel up the coast of Vietnam ending in Hanoi.  Then back to BKK for a couple of days before returning to the UK.

Glad you're booked up.  Not sure how many are on the trip - last time I looked there were only 4 places left.  Have you done much cycling?

When I booked last week, I was told that 11 had already booked, leaving me as the 12th.  So, maybe there has been one other to book since me.  Seems like there's quite a variety of people going on this trip, so tht should be fun.

I haven't done a lot of cycling.  I cycled around the Rioja region last summer, but that was only five cycling days.  It was a mountainous region, so that was tough - easy on the down slopes, but not so good going back up again!  And some of the climbs were very long and steep.  It was also very hot - between 35 and 40C.  I expect it will be hot on MOC?  No idea about the terrain.

I expect to do some cycle training in January.

Also a mountain lover, but don't think there'll be too many to climb on this trip :o(  so I'll be taking it easy and taking lots of photos on the way!
