Anyone cycling classic Nepal?

Hi,I am on this trip I went on a charity challenge one to India last year which I really enjoyed.Bit worried about this one sounds like lots of up hills. 

Hi Mal, am also worried not just about uphills but first few days sound like they are quite rough under foot! Looking forward to the variety this trip has to offer though. Trying hard to get out as much as possible but weather not helping! Where are you from?

Hi.I am from Jersey went out on my bike for an hour today but it is so cold I did not want to do anymore.I think that once we get through the first three days it gets much easier.The last trip was the other way around the last couple of days was on very rough undulating roads.What have you been told about malaria I do not think we need pills but different web sights tell you something different.

Hi, I know, the cold is a real drawback, find it very hard to cycle for long periods when it is so cold. We think malaria tablets will be required, not for Kathmandu, but for the more remote areas we visit. We are from Clitheroe in Lancashire and have booked to stay an extra couple of days in Kathmandu at the end of the trip.

We are actually fliying from Manchester so will not meet until we get to Kathmandu. We stop off somewhere in Quatar, then go on to Kathmandu. I think we get in a few hours earlier than the London flight arrives. Will look forward to meeting you then.
