Anyone else having Christmas in Sri Lanka?

Hi Jen! I will be on the tour as well. I am from Zurich, Switzerland. (German speaking part) It will be my first time in Sri Lanka. I am travelling on my own as well. This will be my third or fourth trip with Exodus; but travelled many times with GAP, Explore and Intrepid in many countries around the world. Will fly out already on Dec 17th via Doha/Qatar; will stay 2 nights in Colombo on my own before meeting you guys on Sunday. Looking forward to meeting you! See you soon! Christian :-)

Hi Christian, its good to know someone else is out there! I've never been to Sri Lanka, but it has been highly recommended to me by a number of people. I travelled through South India earlier in the year (for quite a bit longer than planned due to the volanic ash cloud) so Sri Lanka seems the logical next step. However, I'm so exhausted at the moment with a manic job and trying to get see everyone before Xmas that I think I might just be rocking up with an empty backpack and spending a lot of time sleeping...It'll be great when I get there, see you in Colombo in a week!

I am on this trip as well. My name is Peter and I live in London (although I am German). It is my first trip with Exodus and I can't wait to escape the harsh winter. Hope to meet some fellow travellers at the airport in Heathrow.

Hi Peter, its good to hear from you - I'm also a fellow Londoner (Finsbury Park) but it sounds like I will have a good opportunity to improve my very basic German on this trip! I'm very excited about getting away from the cold - although I'm hoping the snow will hold off until we are out of the country..... 

Do you want to meet at the airport somewhere for a pre-flight drink?
