Anyone going to China in October

Hi Nic, I am booked on the Imperial China on 9th October too. Can't wait! It is my first trip with Exodus (I am also booked on Thai Indochina tour AOG 2 weeks after we finish in Shanghai). Have you been on trips with Exodus before? Any advice? What kind of rucksack do you have?

Sorry only just picked up your reply.  Can't believe how quick it's come round, I can't wait!  Went to Peru with Exodus last year, it was an amazing trip.  Not sure what sort of bag I'm taking yet, have a duffel back with wheels that I might take.  Took an Exodus bag last year and it was a real pain lumping it around as it had no wheels.

Where are you flying from?  Are you on the group flights?

Hi, I am also on this trip. I had to book my own flights as I was late booking the trip but managed to get the group one going out :-)

This is also my first trip with Exodus. Do you know how big is the group and how many people are going from the UK?

Welcome to Exodus, it might be your first trip, but I'm sure it won't be your last!  I went to Peru last year and couldn't wait to book my next trip when I got back!!!

Not sure on the group size, I think maybe about 16 of us, I know the trip is full now.  Where are you travelling from?

I can't believe how quick the trip's come round.  Need to start sorting out my packing :o)

Hi Nic, thanks for coming back. Yes my first trip with Exodus :-) , I have done 5 trips with Explore and they are very similar, they both do very exciting trips ...too many to choose from!!

I am flying from London, ...managed to get he same flight as the group one :-), are you on that one?

Can't believe how quick this has come round - am getting very excited now - been shopping today for a few new t-shirts and think I've probably got everything I need, but....... Hope you're both looking forward to it as much as I am, really looking forward to meeting everyone See you in 2 weeks!!!!

I'm booked on the trip, flying from London too. First time with Exodus and doing atrip like this. Very excited!! Have a holdall with wheels and hopefully all I need now. Can't wait to meet you all:)

Hi Nic, Ann and Susan... and any others! WOo Hoo! Sorry for the late reply... Looks like everyone is up for a great trip. I fly to Beijing Thursday so I will meet you all at the Don Fang hotel on Sunday... I may have got my bearings by then. Can't wait to meet you all. I don't have wheels on my pack, but it travelled many months round Morocco with me, so should be ok. Nearly packed, but I am sure there is something obvious I have forgotten, the KIT LIST on the Nomad website is great. See you all soon,

Hello everyone. I'm not on this tour, but was just reading through this thread to see if there were any questions I could help with. For those of you who aren't aware, this is now a full departure and there will be 16 of you travelling. With regards to what to pack, there is a section in your trip notes (which you can download from the site or go to from the link in your confirmation e-mail) that lists any out of the ordinary bits and pieces you'll find useful to take. It's on page 5 of the notes under the Essential Equipment & Clothing section. Have a great trip.
