Hi Marion. I'm going in -
Hi Marion. I'm going in April, but like you no one has posted anything, so I thought I say hello.

Hi Owen -

Hi Owen, nice to have a reply even if you are not on the March trip.

Where are you in your picture? Looks like you are accustomed to snow.

Marion

A Voice! -

Hi Marion. Nice to hear a voice if you catch my drift.  The picture was taken on Y Garn in North Wales about 4 winters ago.  I live on the Wirral and Snowdonia is only 1.5 hours away.  I've done a few winter routes in Wales and Scotland so am used to wearing crampons etc.  What about yourself? Have you received your kit bag yet? I wonder about the size and managing to fit my walking poles in.

Hi Marion -

I am going on March 18th. Look forward to meeting you.

Keith.

Mnt Toubkal March 25 -

Hi,

I'm going on the Mnt Toubkal Winter Climb on March 25.

Would be good to hear from anyone on that other MTW trips.

Cheers,

Ed

walking in the snow -

Hi Owen, No I'm not used to snow or wearing crampons. I live in the New Forest so whilst very nice, we don't tend to get much snow and there aren't any mountains. The snow was part of the attraction and challenge of this trip - but also a bit scary.

Hi Keith, Thanks for saying hello. Are you used to walking in snow? Three weeks today and we'll be off - can't wait! What part of the country do you come from? It has been a sunny and spring-like weekend in the New Forest. Best wishes, Marion

walking in snow -

Hi Marion,

Good to hear from you

I live in Yorkshire, not much snow this year.  I have had a little experience in snow and ice.Several days in Yorkshire Dales and two weeks in Glencoe, but, if I dare mention this, it was 60 years ago. Equipment has change quite dramatically since then.

Best wishes, looking forward to meeting you.  Keith

walking in the snow -

Hi Keith,

Thanks for replying. Maybe walking in snow is like riding a bike - you never forget how. Not sure I like that analogy though - I seem to remember falling off my bike quite a few times when learning to ride. Looking forward to meeting you too. Are you catching the group flight out of Heathrow or meeting up in Morocco? Marion

Hi Marion -

I hope you are right about the comparison. I will be joining at Marrakech. The previous week I am on the Marrakech and Sahara trip the previous week.

I remember falling and sliding in snow.

Best wishes Keith.
