Anyone for Nile Cruise?

I recently booked on the trip so looking forward to seeing some sun after all the snow we've had this winter! My brother bought me a Rough Guide for Christmas so I've had my head stuck in that ever since, it all looks really amazing. I've wanted to visit for ages so it'll be good to finally go.  Have a great New Year and I'll see you in March!

Good to hear from you. I completely agree about wanting to get away in the sun especially after all the snow! So looking forward to this trip that I am swotting up Egyptian history in advance, and paying some visits to the British Museum. It appears from the reviews that this trip is generally regarded highly, so I don't doubt that it will be amazing. Just have to get some jabs now and look around the sales for suitable summery attire (it's going to be very hot!). A happy New Year to you and see you in Cairo.....

Hi Liz. Hope the shopping and swotting are going well. I'm pretty sure I'll be dashing round the shops the weekend before we go looking for long sleeved tops, I always think I've loads of time to do things and then end up on the last minute. I was speaking to someone today about the trip to Abu Simbel (or however you spell it), she said it was amazing despite having to get up really early. Can't wait now, it should be great fun.
