Hello

Thought I'd try this one again to see if I get a response from anyone going on this trip?

I am really looking forward to trip although a little anxious about the trekking and distance cycling.

Hi Catherine, I will be -
Hi Catherine, I will be joining you on this trip as well. It's an active trip but nothing hard-core :) Regards Aurelija

Sounds good -
Thnaks Aurelija That puts my mind at rest.I am resonably fit as I dance two/three times a week. But just recovering from chest infection. So haven't been on my bike as much as I'd hoped. Look forward to meeting you. ;o) Catherine

Not long to go! -

Hi All (Both), Only a few days to go; visa & jabs sorted, now starting to look at the guide book and plan what to take.

Aurelija - Will it be easy to charge cameras & phones?  Do you know how many are in the group? Any last minute tips?

As a group we're not very chatty are we, but I expect that will change!

Kaye.

Only 4 sleeps -

Hi Kaye

At last another reply. Where are you coming from? I fly from Manchester to London. Gradually sorting stuff out to pack and tiding house up sort of. It been mad few weeks. Really looking forward to this trip.

Catherine

.. but loads to do -

Hi Catherine,

Jim & I are from London, so don't need to get up quite as early as you do - but likewise life is really manic at the moment and I'm lookiung forward to a well deserved holiday!

Kaye.

not long now :-) -

Hi there,

Good to see I wont be going it alone out there :-) Looking forward to meeting you all, totally agree about the manic bit at the moment, am just finishing packing and still not sure if I have everything I need. I am thinking about taking a sleeping bag, are any of you?

See you soon

Philippa

Sleeping bag sheet -

Hi Philippa

I am taking a sleeping bag sheet rather than a sleeping bag. I am pleased that I don't seem to be the only one now too. I set this discussion up ages ago and had no replys. I have not started packing yet but will probably tonight. I have finsihed work but have a meeting this morning and then need to take my budgie Indi to my parents.

It's the final countdown... -

Finally got away from work at 8pm, then met up with some friends for a Vietnamese meal, so really getting in the swing of things. Fortunately I have all day tomorrow to finally sort myself & my gear out, and to remember all the things that I thought I would buy nearer the time. You both sound so much more organised - I fear that house tidying is one of the many things that will have to await my return :-(

We're taking sheet liner bags too, and maybe a small camping pillow. At this stage I'm not planning to take anything "smart".

Kaye.

mixture of clothing -

Hi

I do plan to put in a couple of skirts partly for coolness.  Clothes are layed out but guess that stress will come tomorrow. I have sorted my medication out into a clear bag for my hand luggage. Plus some spare underwear and nightwear. As I have lost my luggage before now. Which was when I went to Thailand, although I know clothing is cheap, I don't want o worry when I arrive.
