Are malaria tablets necessary for Discover Sri Lanka?

Trip - AIL - DISCOVER SRI LANKA, Departure Date - Sunday 12th February 2012

Wasn't planning on taking malaria tablets but what are others doing?

I'm doing the same trip in March, after Discover Burma, for which I DO need malaria tablets. Sp I'm taking them. I wouldn't worry otherwise.

Enjoy Burma and will post on return. Looking forward to getting away from snow and hoping flight isn't delayed because of it.
