Feel very strongly that our group should have had a guide behind as well as in front. I have done many treks with other Companies and there has always been a guide behind the group to check for stragglers and watch out for people slipping. Our guide kept his head down and walked at a fast pace and not checking very often for people at the back. On one occasion 5 of us at the back stopped to take photos and when we looked up, the guide had gone and we had absolutely no idea which path he had taken as he was completely out of sight. This is a safety issue and should be swiftly addressed in a larger group such as ours.
