Is it possible to hire a sleeping bag (and at what cost) as carrying two sleeping bags for just one night bearing in mind the space/weight they take up in aircraft luggage allowance seems a bit of a waste?
Hey Carla, I was pleased to find out there are 11 of us, a good mixture of male/female and ages ranging from 30's to 60. Bill is not used to being one of the most ancient in the group!
We look forward to meeting and sharing this adventure with you both later this week.
Thanks for writing yes it is possible to hired sleeping bags from Nepal but not from Tibet, we exodus charge 25 sterling pond for hireing a sleeping bag but you need to hired for whole trip 16 days even you only need for 1 day, if you have 2 sleeping bag then you only brieng one of them there will extra quilt or blanket in the guest house too.

I am Carla, joining you on the Tibet Explorer trip.
