Calling fellow travellers_Nile Cruise

Hi, I've just come back from the Nile Cruise trip, and I have to say it was one of the best holidays I have ever had. There were 20 of us in our group, and we all got on extremely well. The trip is really well organised, and you'll be surprised just how much you get to see in such a short space of time! A few points for you though. Firstly, make sure you get a good night's sleep before you take the sleeper train as the journey can be a little noisy and bumpy. And be prepared for a few early starts (however, you do get the afternoons free on the ship, which gives you more than enough time to chill out and unwind!). Finally, be prepared for the street vendors, especially in Cairo and Luxor - they can be very persistent! However, these are all minor points in comparison to the great time I'm sure you're going to have. The cruise ship is lovely, the hotels comfortable, and the trips to the various sights incredible. I recommend you do the sound and light show at Philae, and make sure you visit the market in Aswan (do it in the evening for the best effect). And do not miss sunset on the Nile! Above all, just have a great time and enjoy the experience! I wish I were going back there with you, as I really did not want the holiday to end!! Andy.

Just registered on the site.  Also looking really forward to the holiday.  4 of us going - Irene and myself and two 'children - Malcolm (2nd year Uni) and Juliet (last year school).  We arent on group flight but on a later one that gets in at 1am - so looks like a long day before we get the train - particularly from what the other poster said.
