Has anyone had any experience charging camera batteries using portable solar power? Specifically Canon slr batteries. I`ve previously managed for about a week by carrying 4 fully charged batteries, but the long Nepal trek I`m going on will be around 18 days away from easily available electricity. I realise charging will be available at some teahouses, but would like the fun of trying to manage independently.
Advice on the best connection method, and solar charger model, preferably able to strap to a rucksack, would be much appreciated.
Hi Sid, i have a gorillapod charging system but for camera batts you need the extra bits. It can be worn on the back of a rucksack while walking,
sorry Sid, wrong item mate it's a POWERMONKEY - EXPLORER portable charger from power traveller,
