Carnivores and good books - first time I have ever used those words in a sentence together!

With our trip almost upon us wondering firstly if anyone has ever been or is intending to go to the restaurant Carnivores when in Nairobi - I hear it is an experience and I'm trying to decide if it is an experience to embrace or avoid. Secondly has anyone read any good books about the regions we are visiting. Just finished the thoroughly depressing ' We wish to inform you we will be killed with our families' by Philip Gourevitch on Rwanda and need something a touch more up beat now - any suggestions? Really can't believe we'll all be heading off into the sunset so soon! Katie
