skiing trip 26 december -

Hi Christine..i'm also booked on this trip (leave Boxing Day) have only done cross country skiing a couple of times when i was an au pair in Bavaria over 20 years ago    i had not even thought to take lessons for cross country skiing maybe its going to be more difficult than i thought!

Anyway think it's a nice idea to chat to people prior to travelling..

Dobiacco 26 December -

Hi Sher

I'm also booked on this trip starting on Boxing Day.  I thought it seemed like a great opportunity to try something different (provided the snow arrives).  I took some downhill ski lessons over 20 years ago on the dry ski slopes, and have strapped cross country skis on just once!  I'm doing the exercises that Exodus sent (occasionally) but am really looking forward to the holiday.  Hope I don't feel too stiff after day one!!

What a great week to go though - as most people won't be working until 3rd January it's a break at no annual holiday cost!
