Cuba 11/05/13

Hi I'm on this trip and info wise was wondering similar things to those on the other Cuba trips, namely fitness! Does the lack of comments on the 11.04.13 trip indicate everyone is a bunch of Lycra roadies with no concerns about the mileage?! If so...!!

I think you will be dropped off back in Havana as I arrive... there is also a lack of comments on my forum too, which has me equally concerned!  If everyone on my trip are lycra roadies with no concerns for mileage, think by the end they'll be paying me to take the bus ;)  Am still very excited!

I dont know if you will get any internet in down time on the trip.. but if you do would be greatful for any tips or info you discover on route, if not to rude to ask.. I'll be checking the forum xx

There are really useful comments in the arrivals forum from people who have done this trip before re fitness, food, money and what to take - worth a look if you havent already

Glad to hear there's someone else up for the 11th!! Thought the only blazing I'd come across would be related to cigars! Looking forward to getting out there now I've been jabbed, acquired numerous digestion related preparations and a particullary padded pair of shorts!! So attractive!

Sounds great but you might want to double up in that department as we are going to be in the saddle for 10days in rather hot and humid conditions. Yes i am looking forward to this. I have been told there are 11 otother people in the cycling group so bring it on.
