What has your advice been re:malaria tabs?

Very pleased to get some miles in on the road this weekend. Hoping I'm not going to hold everyone up!

Hi Philippa and Pete, Vanessa you can tag along with me Im not wanting to race and miss the sights. There is a slight risk of melaria Dengue Fever seems to be an issue. Lots of repelent and Gin and Tonics will keep those little sods away.

Hi - re. antimalarials; we have a supply of Chloroquine - just don't like the idea of the possible side effects! Pete prefers the idea of G & Ts!

Hi folks. We are Tim and Elaine from just outside of Toronto, Canada. We are obviously late in joining this forum...we finally read our instructions as the trip got closer. We have been training on stationary bikes since Christmas so we wont be embarrassed by all of your expert cyclists. We leave arrive on the 7th in Managua at about 5 so we may be at the hotel in Granada before you. That means they will be out of beer by the time you folks arrive. See you then.
